# 7 - Technology

This is the bit where I sound like a dinosaur, or my father!
I can remember when .....
.... I was learning to use "Word" & accidentally turned everything I had typed to the colour "white", aaargh! Where did it all go? Now I am solving similar problems for my 81 year old mum.
.... I thought the fax machine was the best thing since sliced bread (coming from a baker's daughter this is a big call indeed!) Now I can't live without email.

Flickr might be a useful tool for encouraging our borrowers to take our library bags on holidays and post the photos of the bags catching a few rays/zeds, having a cocktail, seeingthe sites of London, Paris, Rome, New York ..... Geelong?

The "infamous" Dusty

She began life as a stray so is never sure where her next meal is coming from. (oops a split infinitive!!) Consequently 6 months or so post-adoption she resembles a basketball with a leg on each corner! ... but v cute with a big purr!

Now I know how to load a photo I can move on?

aaargh, but hey, all in the name of lifelong learning! Since it's life long learning, with lots of shiny things for distraction, I shall embrace it - we are, after all, practising what we preach!
